Deadlines

Chickpeas appreciates our parents adhering to the requested deadlines so that we can make sure we always have the correct amount of food to feed our schools, and can keep our waste and costs to a minimum.

Lunches for following day must be purchased before 12:00 pm to be honored.

Dinners for the following day must be purchased before 10:00 am to be honored.

Lunches must be cancelled before 8:00 am on the day of purchased lunch.

All orders can be cancelled online by 6:00 pm the day before, or by phone until 8:00 am.

Dinner orders must be cancelled 2 days before delivery date.

Discounts

EVERY MONTH:

Purchase 20 lunches for any calendar month by the 26th of the previous month to receive 10% off.

Refund Policy

If your student is displeased with our lunch program, please let us know. We are happy to consider all feedback and suggestions to improve our program, menus, and recipes.

Purchased meals are transferable to different dates and times, should you find that your student dislikes something you have previously purchased. Or, use your purchased credit toward family dinners.

However, if you do need a refund on purchased lunches, we will gladly refund your prepaid lunches. Please note that there will be a processing fee of 20% of the refunded amount.

Free Lunches and Dinners

Chickpeas offers lunches and family dinners to parents who participate in our daily food service. Receive $5 of Chickpeas credit per 30 minutes worked. These credits can be used toward lunches for parents, students, and staff, or toward family dinners.

This is considered a "paid" position, and we require the same respect for responsibility and obligation as would be standard with any position. The students depend on the service staff to be there on time and on schedule so that they can receive their lunches. Only responsible applicants should apply for this great opportunity.
